Came Across This Poem On Ig I Don T Know The Author It Hits So Hard Elizabeth metzger interviews anonymous instagram poetry curator @poetryisnotaluxury. it was early 2020 when i first came across @poetryisnotaluxury on instagram (ig). i was nursing a newborn. I recently came across this poem by kahlil gibran and i became so enchanted with it that i couldn't stop my tears reading this. this piece of work talked to me in ways i couldn't imagine and i sincerely hope that the poem will connect with you the way it connected with me. the poem is titled 'fear' and it goes like this. You're welcome i understand for sure, but i am glad you found a bit of comfort in this poem. after i read it, it made me want to continue watching the movies that me and my best friend (he passed away) wanted to watch together or ones i thought he'd like. it felt nice instead of like a betrayal, if that makes sense?.
