Dairy Cattle Marshfield Fair Marshfield Fair Each year in late august you will find plymouth county 4 h youth at the marshfield fair. each youth works all year preparing their animal for this big event. please come to the fair and see the wonderful world of 4 h in plymouth county. the 155th marshfield fair will be held august 18, 2023 through august 27, 2023. On the south shore of ma, there are only a handful of working beef farms! working with beef cattle offers a host of character building benefits. engaging in 4 h programs on the farm allows participants to develop responsibility, teamwork, time management, work ethic, and communication skills, fostering personal growth. All cattle must be tethered with two tie ropes attached to a separate halter and or neck strap. tied with a 4 h safety knot. bedding will be furnished by the fair. dairy and beef exhibitors must supply their own hay & grain. hay & grain for sheep, goats, & poultry & grain for swine will be furnished by the fair. 4h participants preparing to show their animals at the beef cattle show during the marshfield fair in marshfield, massachusetts.the music is "we built this".
