I believe it is possible to reconstitute gouache that has completely dried out, but sadly, it won’t have the exact same consistency as gouache fresh from the tube. i reconstitute dried out gouache all the time, whether it be my cheap miya himi gouache paints, or my more expensive paints from w&n, holbein, schmincke (horadam) and m. graham.
