Celebrating the art of playing video games on cathode ray tube displays. do you have a remote for this set? (an universal remote is fine too) otherwise if you got a antenna, connect it to the tv and let it scan, it should go back to normal after finding some channels (as this set has a digital tuner in it).

Pls Help R Cr10 Kinda tired of having to keep a giant crt on a cart around just to game on a ps2 gamecube wii. sure the cart makes it easy for me to wheel in front of my bed for some comfy gaming. i understand there's nothing like gaming on a crt but tons of people rave about the retrotink 5x 4k. Recently picked up a dell ultrascan p780 (rebranded trinitron tube) and hot damn, this thing is a revelation. i never knew sixth gen stuff could. When i got it, i learned the actual issue was that the image would have noise and go black and white when using composite and s video. this is due to two trimmers on the b board of this model that fail with age. Not The First Asking For Help R Crtgaming Hey guys, i've got a hdmi to component converter, which is claimed to work as this reddit post says: reddit r crtgaming comm … o your tv i don't know what can i do, i tried to use the commands in the reddit post, but i've got this error: try 'xrandr help' for more information. which gave me the same image issue. Finally revamped my crt setup. now with a sd and a hd crt, so that i can play basically everything on it i'd like. i got my retropie up and running! most people are selling old tvs for $100 $200 , but i found this one for $25. i was told today to take this and throw it in the trash! now it will become a retro gaming tv!. Just buy a old pc video card or just old pc with and connect with an pc cable. best solution is to get an old amd card and crtemu drivers. that way you have no conversion going on and can run games at their native resolution. i'm not quite sure what their impact is. a decent converter could probably have quite low lag. After it moved between many houses, i got back from vacation and had to make it mine. so this is what i ended up with 😅 honestly the tube is better than the jvc dseries, and has no blurring on the corners whatsoever. it just doesn't have s video, so i'm using an s video rca adapter in my video distributor.
