Macos Window Resizes When Switching Tabs Adobe Product Community "zoom resizes windows" is in preferences which i have checked off. it's normal there. there is also a "resize windows to fit" checkbox in the zoom tool options bar. is that unchecked? that might not be obvious if you checked the narrow option bar under photoshop preferences > workspace. I like to stack images in tabs within a window so i can easily switch between the two to see the differences. i also like to have a white border when doing so. this always worked great in previous versions of ps, but somewhere along the way the behavior of windows changed.

We’ve raised this behavior internally with our product team to investigate further and understand whether acrobat’s window size persistence can be improved or if there are technical constraints behind it. For me, it helped resizing the window to maximum by pulling the handle to the farthest corner. the os tries to switch to the window's smallest size, after exiting any full screen mode. Because the documents are tabs within the same window, can't both documents simply centre within the window, with neither document changing the size of the window?.
