Aside from a smaller diameter muffler silencer & chrome tip on the trd exhaust, they look identical. both have mandrel bends and follow the same routing. the stock has good back pressure and sounds fine so i am just going to leave as is and install the black tip to match the black accents on my trd sport. What size is the exhaust where it meets the muffler. if someone were to do a muffler swap would a 2.5 inch diameter be the size? i searched and found. The 40 series delta flow muffler cranks out an aggressive tone that’s slightly louder than pro series mufflers and features the same, low interior resonance. essentially, flowmaster took their original 40 series muffler design and made it more “street able”, by adding “delta flow”, noise cancelling baffles. super 40 – aggressive:.
