My First Factory After 6 Hours R Factorio So you've got red and green science fully automated and the factory looks great. your next goals are going to be black science (if playing with biters) blue science and the accompanying oil production that enables blue science. 22 votes, 22 comments. 334k subscribers in the factorio community. community run subreddit for the game factorio made by wube software.

My First Factory After 20ish Hours In The Game It Launched My First Most people who post pictures saying it is their first base seems to have copy paste blueprint from streamer or watched people play for hours. this is what i expect a first base to look like. you did a great job, keep up the good work, the factory must grow !. I've just started playing factorio a few days ago, clocking only 7 or so hours in my first factory, and so far i'm having a blast figuring out the principles of factory design, and spending way too much time coming with solutions for all sorts of problems. After that i have just blueprinted the whole factory into chronological sectors. on the second run i was basically just copying the blueprints, and i managed 6 hours run time. i know that some consider blueprinting cheesy, but i do not like time sensitive achievements. I did somewhat regret that during the first 6 hours of the run. after that, i had bigger things to regret about, because i also tweaked 2 other settings. for one, i reduced asteroid spawn rate. this also reduced asteroid resources to near zero, which made the game more difficult.

I'm also doing my first factory. when i got to making blue circuits i just abandoned my first base, looked at some factorio guides, and created a main bus with more serious smelting capacity. i was not prepared for the scaling in material needs. I have a couple hundred hours in now over the years, and i still never launched a rocket. i always get to that point in the science tree, look at my spaghetti, and say "i can do this better." and add some mods before starting the new game, making it impossible to perfectly plan ahead. Recommended for: enemy bases. not your own. while a late game base with construction bots may be able to patch holes in itself to fix the “occasional” nuke strike, 5 or 6 will severly cripple any attempt at auto repair.
