Open Education Week Creating Open Educational Resources What is open education week? every year, in the month of march, open education global hosts a global week long event called open education week. its goal is to raise awareness, showcase initiatives, and celebrate the impact of open education on teaching and learning worldwide. Come learn how to find and use open access images, video and other open access content, as well as open educational resources including lesson plans and textbooks. Learn how usc instructors adapt or create textbooks and become part of a worldwide movement to support students by incorporating open educational resources into your coursework. This webinar will go over the basic ideas behind open education, how it can support your work as faculty, and many different ways to engage with open, from basic to advanced. this webinar will feature ideas that you can incorporate at any time, and real world examples from your fellow erau faculty.
