P0868 is a death sentence on these cvts. if pep boys did not touch the transmission then it may just be coincidental. sell the car if you can for whatever you can get for it and invest in a different one without a cvt. if that’s not possible, you are looking at 4 5k at least for a reman cvt. 2014 murano losing power when accelerating. floor the gas and i barely move and the rpms do not increase. keep it floored eventually the speed increases and then drives up to about 40 mph. as long as i do not tap break when slowing down or come to complete stop the it will engage otherwise now. I expect that i know the answer here but looking for a sanity check; 2015 ram 1500 with the 6 speed rfe transmission. 41k miles. no history of transmission problems. i just dropped the pan and replaced the fluid and both filters as standard maintenance, used mopar fluid have.
