Guests sungwon cho (aka prozd) and lucien dodge joined us to check out a new one versus many hidden movement board game called the stifling dark from indie developer publisher. Come shine a light into the darkness with me as i playthrough stifling dark! i'll show the first, middle, and end couple of turns so you can see how the game plays and progresses to help. I should be doing a video preview for it, but haven't received a copy of the prototype yet great video review by brody. i love a hidden movement mystery game. The stifling dark is a blend of mystery and survival horror, wrapped up in an asymmetrical horror game made by sophisticated cerberus games. you must work together to find clues about your locations, and whoever is stalking you in the dark. your light is your best weapon against the stifling dark. The result of the adversary's sprint roll is hidden by default unless you choose to play a less competitive game (as described in the hidden information section on page 7). we'll make sure we clarify that the sprint roll is hidden in the next print run, and we'll also remove the sprint die image in the example on page 13 to avoid confusion.
