Visual Bug On Sites When Using Brave Browser Desktop Support Brave Description of the issue: occasionally, random graphical glitches such as jet black checkered patterns appear for a split second on the display until some content changes such as the mouse moving. how can this issue be reproduced? unknown, seemingly happens randomly with no specific cause. Description of the issue: with the vulkan graphics backend enabled, various sites don’t work properly and there are lots of graphical glitches (flickering or rendering of a blank white view are the two most common).

Can you please try disabling the extensions you do have installed and test to see if the issue persists? alternatively (or in addition to) you can try downloading the beta build of the browser, install it an test to see if the beta has the same issue.

I adjusted this option to fix the visual bugs that were affecting chromium browsers until recently. i've posted this strange bug on the support forum, and on this sub reddit several times, but without getting an efficient fix. Disabling hardware accelerating seems to make it work! also, the version i wrote was what was returned by brave version. when i went to 'about brave', it says i am on 1.35.100.
