X Men First Class Review Raging Nerds X men: first class is a look into the origin of the x men. it goes beyond the x men we know today to show the back story to charles xavier, magneto, and the very first sets of mutants who have come together as a team. Movie review: x men first class there are only two words that accurately describe this film: freaking awesome. it has been a long time since i felt the desire to see a film a second time in the theater, but this one definitely qualifies. X Men First Class Well here we go, into the new generation of x men. when i saw the trailer for first class, i decided that i was going to forgo watching it in theaters because it was missing everything that made the first series of x men films a success. By going right back to basics, first class not only finds interesting things to say at the very beginnings of the x men story, but it might just make you believe in origin stories all over. In x men: first class, matthew vaughn takes the franchise to the past in a prequel to the x men franchise that may be the best film in the series. X men:first class is one of the few summer blockbusters that’s completely ignored 3d. for this alone, i hope it makes more money than all the films that have  bothered with 3d, just so studios might finally give up with the gimmick.

I initially was content waiting for this to hit dvd blu ray and watch it then but was stunned that after opening weekend that it was hard pressed to find any negative reviews and rightfully so. i kept reading about how this was one if not the best of the franchise so far. If you’re remotely familiar with the x men and their extended family, you’ll see a lot of familiar faces, even if they are typically unused in the main title (s). if you’re very familiar with the x men family, their origins, etc. then you may be disappointed.
